so do sales and marketing videos always have to be funny and I’ve seen that before people say oh what’s the what’s the funny part of this what’s the laughs what’s you know and and to be honest I think that is a little bit of a distraction you don’t you don’t have to be funny sometimes it’s better if you’re just professional and you’re honest and and you’re being authentic with them and if you’re trying too hard to make your audience laugh sometimes that shows and it doesn’t feel as authentic so let me take a step back before you force yourself into a funny mode and just say okay what’s the context of this video maybe this just gonna be a straight to camera authentic honest video or just a professional interview style so yeah don’t constrain yourself into comedy
