Whether you work in sales, marketing, or any other division of your company, you may be searching for the best video marketing software to help you do your best work. In fact, you may notice that your bosses or colleagues keep referencing the word productivity.

It is safe to say that every organization wants to be more productive. Productivity in business leads to benefits like increased profitability, lower operational costs, and better customer service. If you and your colleagues are able to take on more work with fewer resources or in a shorter amount of time, your company will likely make more money. To put it another way, you are able to get more done with less, and these benefits flow down to the bottom line.

Along with these financial benefits, increased productivity simply feels better. It feels good to get things done and to check off boxes on our to-do lists. Ultimately, increased productivity within an organization increases morale within that organization. Employees are fired up and more motivated to take on the challenges of their day-to-day work.

With these benefits in mind, you may be asking that one important question: “How do I become more productive?” While this question could be answered in several different ways, I want to focus on the best video marketing software for productive sales and marketing. At Dubb, my team and I rely on several different types of tools to help us stay productive. By taking advantage of this video marketing software, we believe that you will similarly be able to become more productive in your sales or marketing career.

Amazon’s Alexa

One tool that my team and I regularly use is Alexa. Amazon’s Alexa is one of the most recognized tools in the rise of the voice economy. In all likelihood, you or someone you know already has a device (like the Amazon Echo) that is powered by Alexa. Notwithstanding some of its issues, Alexa can be an easy way to order groceries, listen to music, or even get health tips.

While Alexa can be a terrific tool in our personal lives, it can also be an outstanding tool for marketers and salespeople. For example, at Dubb, we use Alexa to make appointments, figure out what the weather is, and to set reminders. Like you, our schedules are full throughout the day. Instead of pulling up our computers or phones to get organized, we can simply talk to Alexa. With the rise of Alexa Skills, third-party developers are constantly developing new ways to get the most out of your Alexa device.

So don’t just think that Alexa is for your personal life. It can be an outstanding tool to help you stay organized and get more things done.

Adobe Premiere Rush

From Alexa, we at Dubb love Adobe Premiere Rush. Premiere Rush is an easy way to edit all kinds of videos. In fact, it is one of the best mobile video editing apps that we have seen. The simple truth is that for most videos, you do not need the most complex video editing software. It’s not like you are creating a Hollywood film. To create an effective business video, you just need some very simple tools. As we often state, the effectiveness of your business video isn’t going to depend on the microphone you use or how sleek your video looks. Instead, it will depend on whether you provide value and create an authentic, genuine connection with your audience.

But back to Adobe Premiere Rush. This video marketing software is available on both desktop and mobile. It offers your standard suite of editing options and prioritizes speed and ease of use. One of the cooler features is that you can make edits on your mobile device, switch over to your desktop, and pick up where you left off. You can start for free by visiting Adobe Premiere Rush’s website. Whether or not you have extensive video editing experience, you will find Premiere Rush to be an easy and effective editing tool for your business videos.

Google Keep

The next video marketing software that we recommend is Google Keep. Google Keep is a note-taking app that Google released back in 2013. It is a terrific way to save to-do lists, checklists, or even just random notes throughout the day. Some of the best business people and entrepreneurs swear by taking notes throughout the day, so Google Keep can be a great way to track your thoughts on a daily basis.

One of the best features of Google Keep is that it integrates directly into Google Chrome. There are many note-taking apps out there today, but this direct integration into our favorite browser makes it much more convenient for us. Google Keep is also a mobile app, meaning that you can always write down, track, and return to your thoughts. As with many other Google products, Google Keep is free. Dubb

We couldn’t create a list of the best video marketing software for productive sales and marketing without mentioning our own product. As you likely know, Dubb is a video communications platform that lets you quickly create, share, and track videos from platforms like Gmail, LinkedIn, your screen, mobile device, or even a webcam.

Dubb is intuitive to use and is an extremely effective way to communicate with prospects, current clients, or your audience. We are living in a world where people don’t read as much as they used to. Video has become the vast majority of content on the internet. Along with this, video inherently creates deeper connections with an audience. It increases comprehension and

lets you build long-term relationships—so long as you are conveying real value to your audience. If you do this, you will likely see a bump up in revenue.

Dubb can help you with this. We offer everything from the ability to email personalized videos at scale to building custom video landing pages that can drive more sales. You can even take advantage of Dubb Widgets, which takes any Dubb video you have, embeds the video at the bottom of your website, and is persistent so users can interact with the video as they’re scrolling. Basic Equipment For Video Production

At Dubb, we also take advantage of several different types of equipment for creating our business videos. These tools can save you some time and help you create terrific video content for your audience.

The first thing we recommend is a cheap selfie light. We bought ours for seven dollars. These lights are extremely versatile. They can clip onto your laptop or your phone, giving you some added flexibility for your particular needs. When I record webcam videos, for instance, I tend to include a selfie light a little bit higher on my monitor in order to brighten the shot. You can find a cheap, effective selfie light on sites like Amazon.

In terms of audio gear, it is important to get a decent microphone. I recommend a lavalier microphone, which can clip onto your shirt. These microphones get great audio because they are close to your mouth. While it is inconspicuous, these are professional microphones that you can use at your office or on-the-go. We at Dubb have recommendations for lavalier microphones and other audio gear. You can find these recommendations by clicking here.

Slack

You probably already use Slack. But for those of you that don’t, Slack is a terrific tool that helps teams better collaborate. Whether or not it is truly an alternative to email, Slack is a great way to keep your team on track. It ensures that every team member is working on the right thing.

Ultimately, there isn’t much more to be said. Slack has become an essential tool in today’s workplace. If you haven’t already, you should take advantage of it.

Pixelmator

Pixelmator is a great tool that we at Dubb use to edit photos. Pixelmator offers users professional image editing tools that anyone can use. Like Adobe Photoshop, it contains a full list of photo editing features like easy color adjustment, a long list of effects, and an easy-to-use

repair tool. The user interface of Pixelmator, in our opinion, is also better and more intuitive than Photoshop.

Ultimately, Pixelmator can be a terrific alternative to Photoshop. Instead of paying a monthly fee to use Photoshop, you only need to pay $40 for a Pixelmator lifetime license. Whether or not you are on a tight budget, Pixelmator is a great tool to edit any of your photos. You’ll end up saving time and money if you incorporate Pixelmator into your organization.

Google Photos

Google Photos isn’t just for saving your vacation photos. It can be a great tool in a business context as well. With Google Photos, you can simply hit a button and have your photos backed up safely in the cloud. Once they are backed up, you can delete your images from your phone, freeing up space so that you can take even more photos. With over one billion users, Google Photos is certainly a popular option for backing up photos. Therefore, if you are shooting photos for your company blog, for instance, feel free to back up those photos with Google Photos. You never know when you may need them.

Skype

At Dubb, we use Skype to record audio and video content for our podcast Connection Loop. Skype, as you likely know, is a communications tool for free calls and chat. It has been around for quite some time and was purchased by Microsoft in 2011. While you can use Skype to make short or long-distance audio calls, you can also use it for group video calls.

While we tried using Zoom for our podcasting needs, we ultimately decided to go with Skype. This is because we started experiencing some audio and visual sync issues with Zoom. We also noticed that Skype’s audio quality was better. Getting started with Skype is extremely easy (click here to learn more). In sum, this video marketing software is intuitive, straightforward, and can save you time if you are simply making a long-distance call or are creating audio or video content.

Asana

Asana is a great tool for organizations of all sizes. It helps you and your colleagues keep track of thoughts and to-dos. It is especially useful if you have remote employees or a team that is dispersed in different locations. Asana can keep all of your colleagues on the same page. It is a terrific communications platform. You can assign tasks and ensure that your team is meeting all of your deadlines. In sum, Asana definitely boosts our productivity and it will surely do the same for your organization.

Rev

Finally, Rev is a terrific piece of video marketing software that can transcribe your marketing videos. If you are creating audio or video content, it helps to create closed captions or a transcript for that content. This is because transcripts can help boost your website’s search engine optimization. In other words, you are giving Google more options to crawl your website (and correspondingly, a chance to rise in the search rankings). Not only that, but captions can be a great feature for viewers who don’t have headphones, but still want to consume your content.

Rev is extremely easy to use. All you need to do is submit your YouTube video (or any video) to Rev. Rev will then complete a caption file (an SRT) for you, which you can then upload to sites like Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Increasing Your Productivity

By taking advantage of the video marketing software mentioned above, the chances are high that you and your organization will become more productive. The tools themselves won’t get you there, however. You need to consistently use these tools and ensure that your colleagues are fully invested as well. That said, by staying committed, you will notice a tangible difference in your productivity.

We at Dubb love thinking about this video marketing software. If you’d like to get in touch (or share some of your favorite productivity tools), don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
