Comparison between loom<br \/>\nand dub. So let&#8217;s go ahead and jump right into it. Just one quick note<br \/>\nbefore I get started and it&#8217;s actually going to be the reason I would choose one platform over<br \/>\nthe other it has one very specific reason above any other and that dog is going<br \/>\nto track. Who is watching the video. And what percentage of the<br \/>\nvideo they&#8217;re watching you can see here if I pull up the activity feed. 100% of<br \/>\nthe video was viewed by Daria Santos, which CTA clicked and things like that<br \/>\nthat is the difference that loom is not going to be able to provide they&#8217;re not<br \/>\ngoing to be able to show you what percentage of the video was viewed or who clicked it. So those<br \/>\nrings are really critical. If you ever used videos in a sales or<br \/>\nbusiness opportunity you&#8217;ll know that you absolutely need to know the difference between a click<br \/>\nand 100% views, regardless<br \/>\nof that. They said that room says that more reporting is coming<br \/>\ndown the road. But currently it&#8217;s not something that they provide and other platforms like<br \/>\nWistia Bombomb Vidyard they do provide this level of analytics as<br \/>\nwell as Deb. So definitely keep that into consideration.<br \/>\nOkay, next thing is the creation<br \/>\ntools. These platforms have very similar creation tools. Actually. They<br \/>\nboth have Chrome extensions. They both have desktop apps and they both have Gmail<br \/>\nadd ONS we&#8217;re actually using the dub desktop app to record this video and<br \/>\nthe Chrome extensions are very similar as well. So if I actually just click on that you can<br \/>\nsee is a partial screen, full screen webcam selection, all<br \/>\nthat and then the loom. One is actually very similar so I can do partial screen full<br \/>\nscreen camera, only webcam. Whatever I need to do. So in<br \/>\nterms of functionality they&#8217;re very, very similar. Both have annotation tools.<br \/>\nBoth have the ability to resize the webcam both have pause. So<br \/>\nboth actually have really advanced screen recorders and now I<br \/>\nmentioned Gmail add ONS as well. This is what that looks like. Both<br \/>\nhave a little icon right there inside of Gmail. That allows you<br \/>\nto insert videos that&#8217;s what looms looks like this is what<br \/>\ntubs looks like a little bit more personalization with you&#8217;re able<br \/>\nto put a first name on it and things like that at the last<br \/>\nminute. So that&#8217;s what they look like in an email a little bit more real time<br \/>\nediting tools. It does that&#8217;s a virtual background feature there that&#8217;s<br \/>\nunique to do as well. So in terms of creation, very similar<br \/>\ndesktop apps, very similar. Chrome extension is very similar. The add<br \/>\nONS du is going to have quite a few more add ons, including the only platform<br \/>\nthat has a direct integration with LinkedIn. And then also some more realtime<br \/>\nediting features like virtual backgrounds do also has<br \/>\nthat mobile app. So no mobile app on bloom.<br \/>\nIt has a really advanced mobile app that you can do things like slicing multiple clips together. You can<br \/>\npause it flip the camera around. You can add text. Music and<br \/>\nmore so, very advanced mobile app for us and one to compare to to<br \/>\nloom. Okay, so that&#8217;s it for the creation tools edge goes<br \/>\nto dub for the mobile app realtime editing features, but other than<br \/>\nthat, very, very similar. So, the next thing is the customization<br \/>\nand unfortunately, this is really where loom falls short they do not offer<br \/>\nvery much customization, so here&#8217;s a video I recorded with loom and here&#8217;s. As<br \/>\nfar as it goes for customization, I can add a couple of<br \/>\nUpsettings comment section things like that, some simple settings<br \/>\nand then I can also trim it meaning I can throw off the end of the beginning. And now as<br \/>\nfar as call to action goes very, very limited CTA functionality here.<br \/>\nAll I can do is add a button that appears at the end of the video just<br \/>\none button and it can only be a link based. So that means it&#8217;s a link to something.<br \/>\nAnd I can change the color and style of the button now this is really<br \/>\nlimited when it comes to functionality of can we<br \/>\ncompare this to dub CTAs there&#8217;s really not much to compare<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s a ton of functionality that we can get with CTA that we&#8217;re not getting<br \/>\nwith those we can see here. We can have direct calendar into integration. So<br \/>\nyou can have your calendar embedded directly on the page video testimonial<br \/>\ncollection as well as any link. Based thing. You can also open up Facebook Messenger chats.<br \/>\nYou can have them download something fill out a form capture. A lead<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s just so many different things we can do with calls to action. That just<br \/>\na link is really not cutting it as well as having multiple CTAs<br \/>\nand of course, tracking them as well. This is a little exit intent pop up, which is just one<br \/>\nof the way to customize the video pages. So as you can see here and also<br \/>\non this page there&#8217;s a ton of customization you can do to dub video pages<br \/>\nincluding uploading your own logo, custom background and other element<br \/>\nthemes or page element themes with<br \/>\nloom there&#8217;s really nothing we can do the best we can do here is remove<br \/>\nlooms logo we&#8217;re not actually able to upload any of our own branding. We can&#8217;t customize<br \/>\nthe background. No multiple calls to action. We can&#8217;t really customize these<br \/>\nvideo pages and in fact, in any way, shape or form. So, as<br \/>\nI mentioned, this is really where loom falls short, almost zero<br \/>\ncustomization. We can add CTAs trim the video custom.<br \/>\nThumbnails is a new feature that is only available on a pro plan. But these are all really basic<br \/>\nfeatures that are available on any platform, including debts,<br \/>\nso that&#8217;s really? It in terms of customization for Loom<br \/>\nis the CTAs and a custom thumbnail. Now with dub we&#8217;re<br \/>\nactually getting a whole other platform,<br \/>\nreally, we have the ability to build out custom video landing pages. Like,<br \/>\nI showed you here as well as completely custom landing pages that are separate. So<br \/>\nthis is the number of new things. Number one for that.<br \/>\nSo that&#8217;s automatically going to. And then<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s also workflows that you can build. So you can build out<br \/>\ncomplete custom workflows automations with SMS email, messages<br \/>\nand more. So I&#8217;ve added some videos here where you guys can learn more about Dubs automation, but<br \/>\nthat&#8217;s something else the platform does in addition to building these custom landing pages<br \/>\ncustom video pages email templates there&#8217;s just so much more. You<br \/>\ncan customize with them in addition to the basic elements<br \/>\nhere of the video pages. Okay, so that wraps<br \/>\nit for the customization. We really just kind of show them. The very basic things that loom can<br \/>\ndo by adding a CTA at the end. A button only and zero customization<br \/>\nof the page. Whereas with do we can really build out entire custom video landing<br \/>\npages with tons of CTA functionality. Now, the next<br \/>\nthing is distribution. So with whom what we do<br \/>\nis you copy the link and put it into your email<br \/>\njust like that guy there. And now that&#8217;s really the only way we<br \/>\ncan share loom. Videos that&#8217;s it for distribution copying the link. What<br \/>\ndub provides is really a whole another set of features to get these videos out. One<br \/>\nis, of course, you can copy the link. You can just press copy link. But dub also provides<br \/>\na ton of in house sending functionality meaning I can send this video<br \/>\nright from dub. They can go from here either one to 1 or<br \/>\nI can build out a campaign. I can send one video to an entire list<br \/>\nof people or I can send through automation as I show you here. I<br \/>\ncan build out a workflow and you can go out through emails and text messages.<br \/>\nAnd then you can see here. I can select select an SMS<br \/>\nor I can do an email either of those options in the automation.<br \/>\nSo not only does it give you the copy and paste function, but it also<br \/>\nhas its own built in CRM and automation tools as well. So you can<br \/>\nsend these things out in scale. And, of course, what I make in the very beginning<br \/>\nof the video is the difference in tracking. So with Dubb, you can send out these<br \/>\ncampaigns that I mentioned and you can see specifically like here&#8217;s one campaign that<br \/>\nwas sent to 17,000 people and you can see out of that 17,000 who watched<br \/>\nwhat percentage of the video I can filter it. I can see exactly video.<br \/>\nReplies video views what I want so I can see who watched what percentage<br \/>\nof that video and more. And then I can build that into more automation for more.<br \/>\nFollow up and do everything intelligently and whereas with whom we do not<br \/>\nhave that level of distribution or reporting. So we&#8217;re not going<br \/>\nto be able to see who&#8217;s watching what percentage of the video in order to know what to do next. So,<br \/>\nin terms of distribution that&#8217;s what it looks like with, um we&#8217;re just copying the link and dub has the<br \/>\nmobile app. We can SMS the videos we can text message them as well as direct integrations<br \/>\nwith LinkedIn and dozens of CRMs so<br \/>\nthat&#8217;s what the distribution looks like between the platforms. Okay, so<br \/>\nwe&#8217;ve talked about the creation we&#8217;ve talked about the customization. We&#8217;ve talked<br \/>\nabout the distribution now. Finally let&#8217;s talk about pricing quick wrap<br \/>\nhere. So this is one good thing for loom. They do have a very, very cheap. Our<br \/>\naffordable pricing just four bucks a month I paid for the year in advance or<br \/>\nfive dollars. If you&#8217;re going month to month. However we&#8217;ve talked about really the limitations<br \/>\nwith this plan. Like you can&#8217;t track who watch the video. You can&#8217;t see<br \/>\nwhat percentage of the video was watched you can&#8217;t upload your own brand. Very<br \/>\nlimited CTAs and things like that but it is just five dollars a month for<br \/>\nthat functionality. Now, when we compare this to dub, we have<br \/>\n10 dollars per month plan that&#8217;s going to be really similar to that price<br \/>\nover to that plan over at looms.<br \/>\nSo this is the comparable plan here is either eight dollars per month. If<br \/>\nyou pay for the year in advance or 10 dollars, if paid month to month. So really four<br \/>\ndollars 8 bucks that&#8217;s the difference. Except with dub you&#8217;re getting all those<br \/>\ndifferences that we described the ability to build custom landing pages. Customize your video pages<br \/>\ntons of CTA functionality really detailed. Analytics advanced<br \/>\nreporting that we&#8217;re not getting with loom so that&#8217;s really. When we&#8217;re<br \/>\ncomparing these two platforms, the price difference between the similarities.<br \/>\nHowever, there are going to be the advanced features that provides as I mentioned, the automation,<br \/>\nthe CRM functionality, tons of additional function that<br \/>\nthe dub platform provides that I mentioned some of it in this video. And now there&#8217;s<br \/>\nalso some things that I didn&#8217;t cover in this video because they&#8217;re not comparable to loom. Like I<br \/>\nmentioned. I didn&#8217;t go to debt or detail with the CRM functionality or the<br \/>\nautomations and those are things that are included in the higher tier plans with<br \/>\ndub as well as things like Super advanced account management.<br \/>\nDirect phone support API access custom integrations that are<br \/>\nincluded on their highest tiered plan. And now these are things that are not going<br \/>\nto be available, even on the team access, possibly for a company we don&#8217;t know<br \/>\nyet it&#8217;s been contact sales for quite a while. The<br \/>\nthings like uploading your own logo has been on there for about a year or more and<br \/>\nit hasn&#8217;t been updated quite yet. So we&#8217;ll see when those features become<br \/>\navailable if they do so that wraps it, guys we&#8217;ve compared<br \/>\ndub to loom we&#8217;ve seen how to provides much more detailed analytics and<br \/>\ntracking customization and more. All for a really comparable<br \/>\nprice through that internal and support plan. And so those plans are really<br \/>\ncomparable, but also has the additional features that have the marketing automation<br \/>\nCRM functionality. And so much more on the higher tier plans.
