Relationship really is the key and the foundation to
\ndeveloping your business. Business is made up of people. We’re not in a fully AI
\nspace right now. It’s all about relating to other people. And so
\nif you have that down able to relate to people on a personal level,
\nI think you have a better capacity and opportunity to
\nreach a lot more people.
\nBe as genuine as possible.
\nBe proactive in sharing what value
\nyou present to the person you are approaching. Inspire them to
\nreciprocate that relationship and that gesture.
\nHere we are in Nava, California. Why don’t you introduce yourself?
\nMaybe that’s a good place to start. Sure. Mariangela Draw. I am the head of
\nStrategic Partnerships for Support and NJS based in Austin, Texas.
\nAnd I’m here with Ruben Brandon, one of the sales people
\nthat we have mentioned that he loves using Dub
\nfor a lot of the reach out of the lead because he says it
\nworks really well. And I’m like, tell me more about that. From there.
\nI started following you guys on LinkedIn, being more of an
\nintrovert versus someone who’s really used to be in the limelight and
\nout there taking videos of yourself. It’s new to me.
\nSpanish wines are superfood friendly. Here we are in Napa vineyards
\nin every direction. Rare wines that I have in the list is coming from
\nthe Canary Islands. The winds are so strong they can
\nrip your skin apart sometimes where these finds are planted. With developing
\na relationship, you expand your business reach and
\nyour visibility, and visibility is key with building those relationships.
\nNow that the partnership has been established,
\nit’s our turn to implement. Like I said, we are using Job
\non a daily basis. Cody McClain, he has his own podcast,
\nsharing the Word of the Ninja and actually sharing his story. He has such an
\namazing story that actually captivated me, and that’s the reason why

\nHost very obvious that you’re about providing value. You’re being
\ngenerous and you were giving us engagement and interest
\nmarketing reach out, right? People that would send messages to
\nus, cool. No background on this person, and they just reach out to you.
\nAnd it’s almost kind of like, okay, they want something for me. Let me
\ngive you value because this is how interested I am in you.
\nLet me provide the value first so you can see that I’m not here to
\ntake away from you. And it’s work. And also it’s understanding what
\ntheir pain points are. Then every role, there’s a problem that we’re solving.
\nPeople first connecting, then started to talk about technology
\nand business development and partnerships. People that are truly going to win are the
\npeople that are investing in relationships. Tilted and you commit and
\nyou go you can go straight arm. And what is this called again? Terrone.
\nThis piece is actually for drinking misconception,
\nright? That if you’re out there and if you speak well and
\nthat you relate to people well, that you’re automatically an extrovert. And so
\nwhen I tell and share with people, actually no, I’m introvert, I like more intimate
\ncrowd. I’m like no way, I’m like this way. But then it comes
\nnaturally in the sense that once I’ve established a connection, it’s easy
\nto relate. It just slows naturally. Business development is
\nall about human connection. It’s about things that are mutually beneficial.
\nHeaded over the Golden Gate Bridge right now most of it is actually just disappearing
\ninto the cloud. Now more than ever. It’s so important to really build
\nand to foster, to nurture the relationships that we have in business.
\nIt’s a little bit challenging to keep in touch because there’s a lot of people.
\nWe have our family, we have our friends and then we have our business networks.
\nOne of the important things of sharing updates in your life is so that people
\ncan remember you and can see what you’re doing and
\nbe proud of you and celebrate some of your accomplishments even when
\nthings aren’t going your way, even then, sometimes it’s good to
\nput a post out to ask for feedback, see what people
\nthink about something and even ask for support. All the social
\nnetworks are really encouraging us to create content
\nto provide updates on a daily basis so that we can stay
\nconnected with people. A lot of people also get stuck into this mentality where
\nif they’re a business person and they have goals in their career,
\nthat all of their updates need to be based on business.
\nReality is that we’re all spokespeople and to a certain extent we’re
\nbrands for ourselves that opportunity and that connection for people
\nto really get to know us on a personal level when we’re connecting
\nwith individuals, but also when we’re updating our network to
\ngive personal updates on our lives and all sorts of things that people
\nactually really care about. This is a little place on the way to Napa where
\nyou can actually ride these vintage buy plates. I have absolutely
\nno idea what this thing is.
\nHave a mixture of a museum and a flying tourist business.
\nReal reason I went here is to use the bathroom. This is
