In this recap from a Dubb Support video, we are going to review a training video on Calendly, getting your logo and profile picture on Dubb video landing pages, and recording a video on Dubb. Whether or not you have used Dubb before, this tutorial can help you get the most out of our platform. You can more easily create stunning content and use that content to drive more sales. If you would like to view the video in its entirety, go ahead and click on the play button above.
At Dubb, we are always looking for ways to help our users get the most from our platform. Whether you are brand new to Dubb or are looking to get even more value from the Dubb ecosystem, we are here for you.
Because of this, we wanted to create a video where we talk about several disparate, yet important topics. These topics include how to record a video on Dubb, how to get your logo and profile picture on your Dubb video landing pages, and how you can record the videos that you envision. Using the tips and strategies discussed below, I’m sure that you can overcome any obstacles that you are facing and get that much closer to your sales and marketing goals.
Recording a Video on Dubb
First, we are going to speak about how you can record a video on Dubb. Obviously, you will need a Dubb account to do so. If you already have a Dubb account, you are good to go. If you don’t, however, you can click here to sign up. By doing so, you also get access to a free 14-day trial of our premium plans, so I encourage you to get started today.
With that out of the way, there are three different ways that you can create video content with Dubb. The first is on the Dubb website. By visiting your Dubb homepage, you can see a large plus button on the top part of your screen. Clicking on this button lets you create a brand new video with your webcam. If you have already created a video and want to upload it to Dubb, you can also do so here.
That is the first way to create videos within the Dubb ecosystem. The second way is through the Dubb Chrome extension. You can download the Chrome extension by clicking here. Once you have done this and opened your Chrome browser, you will see a small Dubb icon on the top right part of your browser. Go ahead and click on that. Once you do, you will see several different options appear. In terms of recording, the Dubb Chrome extension will let you record using your webcam, record your screen, or record a mix of both. The webcam recording feature is similar to what you would see on Dubb’s website.
The screen recorder, however, deserves some more detail here. As you’d expect, the screen recorder lets you create a video by recording the content on your screen. You can choose to record just the screen itself or include your webcam feed (or a still image) in the bottom left corner of the screen. Screen recording videos are fantastic tools to help explain abstract ideas. Instead of trying to describe an idea, your product, or your service, you can have your viewers see with your own eyes.
You can use the screen recorder in so many different ways. For instance, it can be a great way to walk a viewer through a contract. Using the screen recorder’s annotation tool, you can underline, circle, or otherwise mark up your screen to draw your audience’s attention to a specific thing. You can also use the screen recorder to show your audience how to use a digital product. It can be used to create a tutorial series for new hires. Really, there are so many applications here, so I encourage you to try the screen recorder for yourself.
Finally, there is the Dubb mobile app. You can learn more about the mobile app (available for both iOS and Android devices) by clicking here. The Dubb mobile app is essentially an advanced recording and studio application in your pocket. Using it, you can create stunning sales and marketing videos wherever you are. Some of the features that you can find with the Dubb mobile app include the ability to start your recording with your rear-facing camera, add personalization text and music to the screen, splice multiple clips together, and more. Even if you aren’t an advanced filmmaker or editor, you can use the Dubb mobile app to create videos that generate more sales.
Dubb Video Landing Pages
Whether you use the Dubb website, Chrome extension, mobile app, or a combination of the above, I’m sure that you can create some fantastic sales and marketing videos. Once you have done that, the exciting work is just beginning. I now want to talk about Dubb video landing pages and how you can do everything from customizing those video pages with your branding to including engaging call to action buttons (which includes a Calendly integration).
So what are Dubb video landing pages? You can basically think of them as the central hubs for each of your videos. Once you create a video on Dubb, you automatically get a Dubb video landing page. You also get one for free if you already have a video and are uploading it to Dubb. Essentially, Dubb video landing pages are designed so that you can not only display your video, but that you can build strong relationships with your viewers and actually generate sales.
We’ll get to some of those key features in a moment. At this point, however, let’s talk about customizing the design and look of your Dubb video landing pages. There is a key thing to note here. If you are on Dubb’s free plan, you won’t have as much flexibility to customize your Dubb video landing pages. You will also see some Dubb branding on your video landing pages. However, if you are on one of Dubb’s paid plans, you have much more flexibility. What you can do is add a variety of custom elements to your Dubb video landing pages. As you can guess, this includes your logo and profile picture. Your logo can appear on the top of your page and your profile picture can be below your video. Next to your profile picture, you can also include your name, phone number, and email address. This is nicely displayed so that your viewer can immediately see who you are and how they can contact you. Along with your profile picture and logo, you can include custom wallpaper, a customized video player, and even a customized play bar. There are plenty of customization options here, so you are definitely going to want to take advantage of them.
Now, once you have added your profile picture and logo to your Dubb video landing pages, what you will want to do is think about adding some call to action buttons. If you haven’t yet heard of a call to action, it is essentially a way to get your audience to do something. In the sales and marketing context, the ultimate goal is getting a sale or conversion. That being said, there are some intermediate steps to nurturing the prospect relationship. Calls to action can help you move your prospect from point A to point B, meaning that you can get that much closer to having that prospect purchase your product or service.
So what are some of the call to action options that you can find on the Dubb platform? Some of our favorites include the following:
Direct Calendar Booking: This is how you can link your Calendly page to a particular Dubb video landing page. Essentially, this call to action option lets you include your calendar below your Dubb video. What happens from there is that your prospect can view the video, click on this call to action button, and then immediately book a follow-up call on your calendar. Dubb offers an integration with Calendly, but if you use another calendar booking service, you will probably find an integration as well. For instance, Dubb integrates with calendar software like Acuity, Book Like a Boss, and more. Once you hook up Dubb and your calendar booking service, you can easily get calls scheduled from your Dubb videos.
This call to option button is a great idea if you are trying to close out warm prospects. What you can do is show them a personalized Dubb video and then invite them to reach out by scheduling a call on your calendar. Once you do that, you can address any concerns that they may have and help them actually purchase your product or service. That being said, this is a good call to action for prospects at the top of your sales funnels. If you want to get someone on the phone quickly and efficiently, you can do so with this call to action button. If you heavily rely on Calendly to build relationships and drive business, I highly recommend that you take advantage of this option.
Download a white paper or eBook: Sometimes, you may have a very helpful text-based resource that further explains your product, service, and/or company. This may be a white paper, eBook, or some other written resource. If you have already created this (or want to create it), what you can do is link this resource to a call to action button. Then, if you are engaging with a prospect at the top of your sales funnel, you can easily direct them to this resource so that they can learn more about what you do. Because you probably put a significant amount of time and work into this digital resource, I highly encourage you to leverage it by attaching it to a call to action button.
Reply with video: At Dubb, this is one of our favorite call to action options. As you can guess, the reply with video call to action lets your viewer respond to your video with a video of their own. This is extremely valuable in two distinct ways. First, it is an extremely convenient way for your viewer to engage with you and your company. Rather than thinking of a subject line and typing out a lengthy email, they can simply click on the call to action button, record their video, and easily send it to you. Along with this, the reply with video call to action is a fantastic way to gather video testimonials. Video testimonials are so effective because they essentially let you borrow the credibility of others. If you have a video (or videos) from satisfied customers explaining how valuable your product, service, and/or company is, you are in a terrific position to build trust with the viewer. That trust makes it much more likely that your new viewer will become a paying customer.
Therefore, if you are debating between different call to action options, I highly encourage you to think about this one. The reply with video option offers convenience to your viewer and it makes it more convenient and easier for them to accelerate your business through a testimonial video. Overall, it is a win-win.
Link to a showcase page: Speaking of video testimonials, let’s say that you have collected more than one video testimonial. These video testimonials that you have collected are extremely powerful, as they come from the mouths of highly satisfied customers. Instead of simply sharing and displaying those videos in an ad hoc way, what you can do is post all of those videos to a video showcase page. Once you have done that, you can link to that video showcase page through a call to action button.
Ultimately, this can be an effective way to show viewers how much impact your company has made on others. Basically, it is leveraging video testimonials on a grander scale. If you have the video testimonials and want to leverage them in this way, think about adding this call to action option.
Link to any page: This is sort of a catchall call to action. Basically, Dubb lets you link to any page and include that link in a call to action button. That link can be to your company’s about page, your company’s blog or YouTube channel, or something else. It can even be a purchase page. Whatever the case may be, you can link to your desired webpage and make it extremely easy for a viewer to go there after watching your video.
These are just five of the call to action options that we truly enjoy at Dubb. There are plenty of other options that you can leverage on the platform. That being said, I just want to make one more important point here. Whichever call to action options that you want to use, I encourage you to plug them into a template. To be clear, you can create a template that has all of your relevant branding (like your logo and profile page). However, you can also plug in call to action options that you think will be the most relevant for a particular audience. For instance, if you are creating videos for individuals at the top of your sales funnel, you can create a template (and relevant call to action buttons) for them. The same can be true by creating a template for those at the bottom of your sales funnel. Whatever you choose, by creating templates, you can both save time and ensure that you are delivering a consistent experience to your audience.
Going Forth and Creating Stellar Content
While we touched on a bunch of disparate topics in this post, they have one thing in common. They are all about you leveraging the power of video to help you generate sales. Whether you are creating video content for the first time or want to drive interested prospects to Calendly appointments, you can use the tips and insights above to get the job done. We wish you the best of luck!
