CES 2020! Time is of the essence when it comes to video. Time is also of the era. We are now in 2020, the year portrayed as the future in the movie Blade Runner. Yesterday we went to CES, the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. We had a great opportunity to check out some of the latest innovations in technology, which included robotics, artificial intelligence, drones, gravitational fields, and so much more. It was an eye-opening experience. Not only were we able to create a piece of content that captures our reactions to the show, but we were also able to produce a list of a few key predictions for 2020 and beyond.
Times are changing. Industries are being shattered left and right. It is our duty to stay abreast of the latest technology to make sure that we are on our path of personal and professional growth. Here are some of our predictions for 2020:
1) Companies having more empathy with consumers. Businesses are finally realizing that if they want to connect with us as human beings, they need to address our human struggles and provide honest solutions to solve them.
2) Consumers have easier ways to connect with other people and brands – while removing the layer of technology that connects them. An example of this is having a conversation with a person wearing airpods. While before it would be a distraction to have a chat with someone wearing a pair of wireless headphones, now it seems innocuous.
3) Technology is enabling automation. We are only years away from being able to leverage technology to automate the most mundane and complex tasks that we deal with on a daily basis. Like driving cars, for instance.
