We have all heard the phrase that the fortune is in the follow-up. It’s a widespread phrase because there is so much truth in it. Without following up with your cold and warm prospects, you will find it much more difficult to generate sales and achieve your sales goals.
However, most people fail to recognize that there is work to be done before the follow-up. This work is important so that you are well-prepared to capitalize on opportunities during the actual follow-up.
So how do you do this?
In this video from the Dubb Action Summit, Dubb founder Ruben Dua and Lin Schussler- Williams sits down to discuss what comes before the actual follow-up. Lin is the founder of UPRising Events, which hosts and sponsors women’s networking and empowerment events.
She is an expert in this area, so we were excited to hear her thoughts about following up and the work that must be done before following up.
Among the insights that you will hear in this clip include the following:
✔ The importance of a story when making any type of connection.
✔ Why you need authentic and consistent follow-up.
✔ Why you don’t need to be salesly to make authentic connections.
Enjoy the conversation! ☺
